Strength in Surrender

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6

The world tells us that strength means holding on — gripping tightly to our plans, our timelines, our ideas of how things should go. But the Kingdom of God operates differently. Here, the greatest strength is found in the act of letting go.

Surrender is not weakness. It is the most courageous thing a daughter of the King can do. It says, "I trust You more than I trust myself. I believe Your ways are higher. I release my grip and open my hands."

When you stop leaning on your own understanding and begin to lean on Him, something shifts. The burden lightens. The path becomes clearer. Peace that passes understanding begins to guard your heart.

Surrender is not giving up. It is giving over — and in that giving over, you will find a strength you never knew you had.

Prayer: Lord, I lay down my plans, my fears, and my need to control. I choose to trust You with every part of my life. Make my paths straight as I submit to Your perfect will. Amen.
