Grace for Today

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'" — 2 Corinthians 12:9

There will be days when you fall short of who you want to be. Days when you say the wrong thing, miss the mark, or simply feel like you are not enough. On those days, the enemy will whisper that you have disqualified yourself from God's goodness.

Do not believe him.

Grace is not a reward for getting it right — it is the gift that meets you in the middle of getting it wrong. God's power is not diminished by your weakness; it is perfected in it. He does not need you to be strong. He needs you to be surrendered.

Receive His grace today. It is new every morning, and it is more than enough.

Prayer: Father, thank You that Your grace covers every place I fall short. I release my striving and receive Your sufficiency. Be glorified in my weakness today. Amen.
